Golden Dragon Qigong

classes & instruction

DSCF3411.jpg

Qigong is a Union of Body, Breath, and Spirit
into Activated Flow State.

These gentle yet profound practices work with Qi, the vital life force, through posture and movement, breath and awareness.

We breathe, stretch, and flow through the wisdom of the body, exploring the alchemy of intentional movement and stillness to bring greater balance to our being.

Qigong is meditative medicine in motion, activating our innate healing abilities and opening a space of deep relaxation and revitalization. The nervous system unwinds, the mind grows clear, and Spirit is grounded in embodied presence.

Golden Dragon
Qigong

Weekly classes meet every Wednesday at 9am PST,

on Zoom and in-person in Sebastopol, California.

Our classes move through an easeful flow of standing practice. We align in our stance, ground into our center and connect to the present moment through breath. We honor the sacred Earth and Sky, then move into gentle fascia stretching with Meridian Flow Qigong, finally opening into further forms and movements guided by the needs of the group and Daoist seasonal wisdom.

Our classes are for anyone drawn to movement, meditation, healing work, yoga, functional fitness, martial arts, or dance. They are suitable for all levels, from total beginners to advanced practitioners, and are designed to make the movement of Qi a fully tangible experience.

Whether you join from your living room or arrive in person, the invitation is to show up, breathe, and move together.

Side effects may include increased energy, vitality and wellbeing, along with feelings of deep peace and joy.

The Alchemical Art and Science of Qigong

Qigong is a foundational Meridian Technology, accessing and balancing the myofascial meridian matrix, nervous system, and bio-electromagnetic fields of the body. Where Daoist Meridian Therapeutics offers this as received ceremony, Qigong puts these tools directly in your hands as a daily living practice.

This Alchemical Art and Science of energy helps us move through blockages in the body, mind, and emotions. Through intentional movement, breath, and dynamic stretching, we open the channels of myofascia, working out stress, tension, and trauma from our cells, tissues, and internal organs.

These principles and practices act as a bridge between the physical and energetic layers of being. We open to the patterns, pulses and rhythms of Source Qi flowing through our bodies just as they move through All of Nature. We align ourselves with the inherent vibrant vibrational vitality of the Universe, balancing Yin and Yang, activating the inner healer of the body.

These profound practices help us move through blockages in the body, mind and emotions.

We learn how to release habitual patterns of tension and move our body with greater ease, efficiency and increased range of motion. The meridians are accessed, squeezing out stress, tension and trauma from our cells, tissues and internal organs.
